I work in an old building with a dated AC system that also would drop out particles (dirt/dust) from my vent in my office.. while the company does replace the intake vent filters pretty regularly, I felt like I needed something to filter the air as it came out directly into my office. This product is perfect for that and from my searches is also very reasonably priced. It was very easy to install (it took me only a couple of minutes) and is low profile, so also not very noticeable. It may restrict more air flow than I had expected (but I’m generally colder than everyone else anyway so this hasn’t been a problem) - but it may simply be that the air is no longer directed straight for my head but rather dispersed around the room more equitably. My office co-workers all want one now!! Would definitely recommend so far! (It has been installed for about a week at the writing of the review)

Good air flow
I like the oversized cut on the filters. They stick great to the velcro and have ample overlap to ensure plenty of surface area for air passage.
I do wish they were treated with a sticky substance as I have seen on commercial filters I used in the past. This addition would make them even better as the slight stickyness lets nothing pass. I would pay more for the sticky option. However, they would need to be changed more often than 90 days. They do work well as they are currently. They are a great addition to the UV light and static precipitators now installed. Very pleased.

Some of the products sold by 1800ceiling.com are included in the California Proposition 65 warning. What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that causecancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals.
Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water.
Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or otherreproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987.
Proposition 65 became law in November 1986, when California voters approved it by a 63-37 percent margin. The official name of Proposition 65 is the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
