I used them as trim rings for my overhead cockpit lights on my boat. Spray painted the backside white and they look very professional and work perfectly.
Needed a custom faceplate for a sloppy job of enlarging Sheetrock opening for an outlet.
Moved into a new home and noticed about 10 of the recessed lights had no covers and lighting was harsh because of this. Looked everywhere for replacements ( lighting stores , online etc.) Was just about ready to have lights replaced when my husband found your site . I removed one of existing covers and measured very carefully down to fraction of inch. They arrived and are a little thicker than existing covers but were easy to pop in and solved our problem and saved us a very expensive light replacement!
