Could not use. I really needed a wider circle. I relied on photo of product on your site which shows it being wide . Guess its my mistake, I really needed a 19” outer diameter(not 16” I ordered)
Easy to install, we used to reduce the opening for 4” recessed lights.
After installing a ceiling fan, I had cut the hole too big and no premade medallions would fit. Luckily I found 1800ceiling online and they had just the thing for me—a goof ring. I was able to measure the inside and outside diameter and I even asked if they could cut it in half for me to make it easier to install. It came quickly. It was perfectly cut and now the problem is solved. Highly recommended.

What an ingenious invention. Instead of standard, old medallions, the custom-fit goof plate was a perfect solution to converting a recessed fixture to a pendant.
