Smooth White Fine Cell Flexible @.020 gauge is made to be used as an overlay or to be placed into a wire mesh basket light as in a Lightolier fixture. The .020 will not support itself. 

This product can also be used as an overlay, (on top of an existing lens) to help mute harsh or bright LED lighting

Exactly what I needed

Exactly what I needed to replace the lenses/light covers in my 1960’s Florida kitchen.
Ordered cut to size and just trimmed for the curved dropdown.
Made life so much easier and the white lenses really brightened up the space.

Needed badly

The originals lenses seem thinner compared to the 1800's. The 1800 lenses are high quality easy to handle and layed in the basket with ease. At first I thought these are a little pricey, but once I seen them first hand they are well worth the money.
